What We Like
What We Don’t
Nissan Certified
This program is for gas-powered Nissan models only with less than 80,000 miles on the odometer and up to six years old (from the time of original sale). Each Nissan Certified vehicle undergoes a 167-point inspection and comes with a limited warranty and a powertrain warranty. These transferrable warranties begin with the vehicle’s original date of sale and extend to seven years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
EV Certified
This program covers 100% electric Nissan models. Each EV Certified model has gone less than 80,000 miles and is up to six years old. The vehicles undergo a 139-point inspection and are covered by a transferrable seven-year/100,000-mile limited warranty and powertrain warranty.
Certified Select
This program covers Nissan and qualified non-Nissan models up to 10 years old with less than 100,000 miles. A 6-month/6,000-mile (whichever comes first) limited warranty is backed with an 84-point inspection. Nissan models get a complimentary visit for scheduled maintenance within the first year or first 15,000 miles of ownership (whichever comes first), while non-Nissan models get up to a $50 reimbursement for the same visit.
Benefits for All Programs
You’ll receive a free Carfax report on your vehicle’s history. Nissan includes one year or 15,000 miles of prepaid maintenance (whichever comes first). Should you need roadside assistance, it is included for the duration of the limited warranty period. A $100 deductible applies to any necessary repairs under warranty, and authorized Nissan repair centers will use genuine new or remanufactured parts to fix your car. If you need a rental car while your vehicle gets repaired, Nissan will reimburse you for up to five days at up to $42 per day, and if your car breaks down when you’re more than 100 miles from home, Nissan will cover you for up to $500 in travel interruption fees to pay for meals, lodging, and alternative transportation. Each Nissan Certified model comes with a free 90-day SiriusXM trial. Nissan offers optional extended warranty programs for Nissan Certified vehicles and runs special financing programs to aid with purchase.
